The Two Row Partnership

For over a decade, ALFDC and Safety Guys Workplace Safety Trainers have partnered closely, crafting specialized job-readiness programs for students of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. Over the years, we've recognized a shared desire among other First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities nationwide—to take charge of safety training.
This realization spurred the creation of Two Row Safety, a joint venture that resonates deeply with Indigenous communities, offering a pathway to empowerment and self-determination. Two Row warmly invites communities to lead in nurturing their own safety instructors, fostering ownership and cultural relevance in safety practices. By empowering communities to drive safety training locally, we aim to make training more accessible and cost-effective, eliminating the need for distant external organizations. |
We innovate safety training with a comprehensive approach spanning in-person, online, and virtual reality platforms. Through our collaboration, you gain the ability to deliver essential on-site training, including Working at Heights, Scissor Lift, and Forklift operation.
We're dedicated to providing the essential safety courses and co-creating tailored job-readiness programs for new and young workers entering trades, ensuring they acquire the skills to excel. Together, we find creative solutions to provide safety training that is designed to meet and exceed OHSA and CSA standards. We offer over twenty courses and are happy to customize them to meet the specific regulations that apply to your province and in-house policies and procedures. In Ontario, Working at Heights and JHSC training are CPO Approved.

Instructors John and Chris both provided great training. Both of them have a great sense of humor.
They presented the program in a way that was easy to understand the theory-practical for the certifications. I received certifications for working at heights, confined spaces entry, mobile elevated work platforms, and forklift+telehandler in Kingston. ..I wanted these certifications to show my interest and build up my resume to get a career in the trades. I tended to have more unrelated experience...now more employers have been getting back to me and I now have a career in telecommunications industry! Thanks for the assist Safety Guys!

We loved having Chris Blackburn at Prince Edward Learning Centre. I run a youth employment program and Chris was wonderful with all the participants. They appreciated his real life stories.
