Details

​This course provides in-depth training for skid steer operators at your location or job site. Students receive theory and practical instruction on the safe operation of skid steers, provincial regulations, accident prevention, safe handling of materials, loads and stability, and safe driving practices.
New Trainees 5 – 8 hours 
  • 1-6 Participants: $1200.00/Session
  • 7-12 Participants: $1,800.00/Session
​Experienced Students 3-4 hours
  • 1-6 Participants: $1000.00/Session
  • 7-12 Participants: $1,200.00/Session
​Note: Travel charges and HST may apply. If equipment is not supplied by the employer then rental fees will also apply.

About this course

Training ​adheres to CAN/CSA-M3471-05(R2015). Students will complete a test on theory and a test on practical skills to attain certification. 

After training is completed, the employer must ensure that new operators receive ongoing training by a. competent person to workplace specific policies and procedures.

Recertification every three years is recommended; recertification takes approximatley 3.5 hours. ​
​Our on-site training allows us to train and evaluate students on the skid steer they will be operating -  in their specific working conditions. Clients are invited to submit in-house policies to be included during the training session.
